Nora L. "Betty" Kephart (Keppylou) passed away on November 5th, 2004 at the age of seventy-eight. Her oil paintings were hanging in most rooms of her house. After her memorial service, we invited friends and family to the house for refreshment before transporting her remains to their final resting place. One of the relatives asked about one of the paintings. My Sister-in-law, Sandra, came up with the idea of letting anyone present pick a painting to take with them if they wanted to. It was a darn good idea and now most of the paintings reside with people who cared about Mom. I think she would be happy about that.
