HISTORY:

RESTORATION LOG includes log entries of repairs and restoration between the time of arrival in Florida and the present.

MAINTENANCE:

BETTYLOU MAINTENANCE Ever changing detailing, oil change, lube, etc. maintenance routines developed for BettyLou based on the BillyBob routines, including required tools, materials and procedures.

"BettyLou" is a 1993 Chrysler Concorde, the first of Chrysler's cab forward designs.

I came into possession of BettyLou after my Mother passed away in November of 2004. BettyLou was the last car my parents had purchased. Dad was able to drive it for about nine months before he got too sick to operate a car anymore. Mom drove it for local errands and kept it garaged otherwise for the ten years she lived beyond Dad. When I trailered her to South Florida, only 18,101 miles were showing on BettyLou's odometer.

The name "BettyLou" comes from my Mother's nickname, Betty, and her Internet screenname, KeppyLou and when I think of it, I can't help but start hummin' Bob Seger's "BettyLou's gettin' out tonite".

Not much here yet either except BettyLou's RESTORATION LOG which includes log entries of repairs and restoration between the time of arrival in Florida and the present.

Renegade has suffered somewhat as I spend most of my tinkering time getting BillyBob restored and now I have BettyLou to take care of too. I've decided to try to employ "economy of scale" methods and do similar maintenance on all three vehicles at the same time. In concert with that effort, I've added BETTYLOU MAINTENANCE as the first section to the BettyLou maintenance area of the site.

Update: November 22nd 2016 The time has come to say goodbye to BettyLou. She is the last to leave the old office "Krash Lab" site. The shade tree I used to work under on weekends  has already been ripped out and demolition starts today on the three buildings on the site, including our old office.
